Earnings Previews. Buy Zone Opportunities and Danger Zone Pitfalls

Welcome to my monthly preview of stocks that I find interesting who will be reporting earnings over the next thirty or so days.

Last month was an especially busy one where I covered twenty companies. This version will not be quite as lengthy, but it will include the following fifteen:

Before we get into those, I always like to include a report card of how I did last month. Most, with one very large exception worked out much like I thought it would.

HITS:

$ZOMD.V - Buy Zone - One of my highest conviction plays rose as high as 91% and currently sits 61% higher from my Sept WWW buy zone and 3x from my 2025 Wolf Pick.

$OILS.C - Buy Zone - Increased by 31% on earnings day.

$HBFG.C - Buy Zone - Up 27% from the identified buy zone

$WELL.TO - Buy Zone - Jumped as high as 19% on earnings before settling back to +4%.

$NOW.V - Danger Zone - Down 34% since earnings dropping by as much as 47%

$BILD.V - Danger Zone - Down 15% from earnings and 22% from highs

$FLT.V - Danger Zone - Down 12.5% since earnings

$IFX.V - Danger Zone - Down 11% since earnings

Misses:

$TRBR.V - Buy Zone - Down 20% from their earnings date and fell as much as 38% before recovering. As a 2025 Wolf Pick I had a lot of harsh words to say. This offended some bulls but I stand by my comments. I’m still holding my full position which is still in the green. While I’m still bullish on their potential the results they delivered in Q2 are not sustainable.

$ROMJ.V - Danger Zone - The stock is up 7% since earnings and was up much higher before a recent pull back. The good news is I liked it so much I bought some so in this instance I was happy to be wrong.
